Expo Celebrates Tattoo Art and Culture with Three Days of On-Site Tattooing, Art Exhibits, Live Music and More
SEATTLE – The 9th Annual Seattle Tattoo Expo is expanding and taking over the Seattle Center August 13th – 15th, 2010 with tattoos, music, art and more as part of a three-day exhibition and celebration of tattoo art and culture. A one-of-a-kind event, the expo features over 200 of the world’s most renowned tattoo artists and innovators who will be showcasing their talents through seminars, demonstrations and onsite tattooing for expo attendees.
Well-known, respected and loved by the tattoo community, the Seattle Tattoo Expo (STE) has long been on the forefront of the union between tattoo, visual arts and music. “The expression of these art forms intersect on the stage, in print and on the physical landscape of those who embrace tattoo,” said organizer Gloria Connors. “A natural progression of this is for STE to continue to explore these unions and expand on the diversity of what we offer our attendees.”
To this end, STE is offering attendees an even broader expo for 2010 including live music and art exhibitions. Attendees will have the opportunity to be inked by some of the best and most diverse artists in the business.
Daily tattoo contests, artist seminars, art gallery exhibits and much more make this year’s festivities bigger and more dynamic than ever before

About the Seattle Tattoo Expo
The Seattle Tattoo Expo began in 2002 by Seattle event producer Gloria Connors and SuperGenius Tattoo owner Damon Conklin. Connors and Conklin decided that Seattle’s abundance of eccentric artists and musicians made this city an ideal place to show off the talent of tattoo artists. Thus, the Seattle Tattoo Expo was formed with the primary goal of exposing new talent, showcasing existing fan favorites and providing enthusiasts with gathering place to share their love for this enduring art form.
Every year STE has added attractions and diversity to this steadily growing event by highlighting creative interests of tattoo artists (painting, sculptures, graffiti and more) and identifying opportunities to bring the world of tattoo, art and music together.
