We have a variety of opportunities available for you to join us at the Expo. By agreeing to one shift you will receive a pass for the day that you volunteer at the Expo. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s preferences and schedules. Please see the list below for brief descriptions of the roles that are open.
Pre-Event Set-Up: (Thursday Only) Assists the production team in setting up the Seattle Tattoo Expo grounds. Some physical labor may be involved.
Administrative Assistant: Assists the production team with various tasks in the production tent. Tasks vary from making copies to running errands around the event. Provides general event information to patrons and artists.
Contest/Stage Assistant: Assists the stage manager and contest coordinator with performers, backstage related tasks, and running the contests.
Box Office Assistant: Assists our box office staff with all entry points throughout the Expo from greeting patrons, to checking credentials and putting on wristbands.
Photo & Media Assistant: Assists our event photographers with tracking important information about Expo moments as they are captured.
Show Floor Assistant: Assists the Show Floor Manager with maintaining the Fisher Pavilion floor and hand wash stations. Although it may not be the most glamorous position, you’d work directly with the tattoo artists amidst the sweet buzzing sounds of the tattoo machines. This position requires you to be able to lift 30lbs comfortably.
Post-Event Load Out: (Sunday Only) Assists the production team in event load out at the Seattle Tattoo Expo grounds. Some physical labor may be involved.
